Stayed for just one night as a stop over/break away. 5 min from beach and town .hosts,Carol and Alec were really lovely and our room was cosy , room for 3, with spacious en suite. lovely fresh bedding , neat and tidy throughout and as for the fab breakfast in the morning..... well, carol and alec did themselves proud... highly... “Lovely place to stay”

I just spent a lovely week there. Carole and Alec were really nice and welcoming. The breakfast was well cooked and the room was lovely. Just a few minutes from the railway station, but Alec gave me a lift back and also carried my heavy case up and down stairs for me, which was much appreciated. More

excellent guest house carol and alex were great nothing two much trouble lovely with the kids the family room was beautiful and clean the bedding smelt lovely excellent breakfast all cooked fresh would recommend this guest house hope to go back soon More

“Yet again great stay”

Stayed again at the Oakwell and what more can I add - fantastic hosts and always remember me. Just what I required when staying for 6 nights and hopefully will visit again in the future Breakfast is great If your looking for a reasonable B&B with great hosts and cleanliness definitly worth a try here More
