Stayed here for one night before taking a relative to hospital the following day. The room cost £32 which was the cheapest in the area we wanted to be in. We usually use Premier Inn when we can and have had one bad experience at a Travelodge (Manchester Airport) but thought we'd give them another shot. The room was a... More

Firstly the plus points it was cheap 26 pounds for a double room, close to the motorway and easy to find, comfortable bed, plenty of coffee and tea making facilities, plenty of hot water. Now the negatives it was dirty the walls looked like past guests had thrown drinks over them, the tv was an old portable with about 6 blurred channels,no hair dryer in room,the... You could not pay me to stay here again, The hotel either needs to be updated or knocked down. My room was so cold I didn’t sleep properly, paint missing everywhere you looked. I had a shower with no curtain, safe to say everything got soaked luckily I removed the toilet paper. That’s if you are lucky enough to get... More

It was cheap but very dirty, the plaster on the walls was damaged there was a bottle of bleach next to the tv.The worst hotel I have ever stayed in by some distance.Very grubby indeed. I have stayed on other travel lodges before but will never stay in one again after staying in this grotty place.

Stayed here as working in the area. Where to start! The location is next to a busy duel carriageway so the sound of traffic is constant. Rooms are grubby and dated with paint peeling off everywhere. Staff are rude and confrontational when asked anything. The shower, controlled by a hot and cold tap, IMPOSSIBLE to adjust! Either boiling hot or... More

My husband and I and 2 Boys booked a last minute break for Easter and wanted to go to Liverpool. All hotels in Liverpool were full so we booked here. It's not a posh hotel but it was clean in a good accessible location and the staff were friendly. For the cost of the hotel it was spot on and... More

1 out of 5 is generous. Rusty hand rail, rusty heater, torn net curtains. Back of the bathroom door was disgusting, with the dirty runs left where it had been wiped with unclean water. Grouting grubby and mouldy and the expected amounts of mould around the bath and the window. Plastic under sheet on the bed -nice touch! The response... More

It worked out £6.50 each per night. Room where old and cold but clean. Was some road noise bed was soft to soft. Wasn't the normal we get from travelodge but we do normally pay a lot more. Hotels needs a refurb or at least some tlc on the items inside your room and also the paint work. Stop if... More

We stayed here just for the one night whilst visiting our daughter nearby. We have stayed in many a travelodge before but I have to say that this was the worst one. On arrival the receptionist was very unfriendly - I tried to help her by giving my booking papers and she never even bothered to look at them! We... More
