After reading the reviews of Kings Acre on TripAdvisor, this gem of a B&B does not disappoint amd rightly deserves its five star ratings. My partner and I stayed there for three nights in September in the Mackintosh room which can only be described as sumptuous. This bijoux B&B houses only three guest rooms, but you do get a dedicated... More

I booked a two night stay here for my boyfriends birthday and had a smashing time!! Fresh coffee with warm scones with fresh cream and jam upon arrival set the scene for our fantastic stay!! Kings Acre is a good base to explore all the surrounding towns, the rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with a huuuuge walk in shower... More

Kings Acre really lived up to our (high) expectations. The accommodation is of a really high standard - we stayed in the Mackintosh room, which is huge and really tastefully decorated. Everything is of the highest quality - from the Tempur mattress, to the locally made toiletries, to the bottled water, tea and coffee and fresh fruit available from right... More

We were astounded by this wonderful b&b as soon as we arrived. My husband and i were attending a wedding in Camelford itself and couldn't have asked for a more welcoming and pretty place to stay. Our room, the Waterfront room, was amazingly furnished and the wetroom was just a pure luxury. The breakfast was lovely and the owners really... More

We've just returned from a three night stay at King's Acre and felt the best way to extend our thanks for a fantastic break was through a great review. Perfectly tranquil and every need catered for (plus a few I didn't know I had, like the superb sausages at breakfast!). King's Acre is a welcoming bolt hole where nothing is... More

My parents have just returned from the Kings Acre B&B. This was a 60th present to my father and I feel like I excelled myself - almost by accident! They could not praise this place enough. Beautiful rooms, tastefully decorated, perfectly situated within the countryside. Lynda and Graham could not have been any more helpful, providing information on places to... More

We stayed 2 nights (28th and 29th May 2008) in the Mackintosh room, which is really terrific. The bed is huge and superbly comfortable with enough pillows to start your own hotel and a mattress that just about reads your mind! The décor appealed to us – we had recently revamped our own wet room with Charles Rennie Mackintosh design... More

Over the bank holiday weekend we booked ourselves into Kings Acre Waterfront Room. We booked the special 2 night package where we recieved tea and scones on arrival. Lynda, the owner, was great in providing us useful information on the local area. This B&B is absolutely unique and amazing. The room was well decorated and was spotless aswell as faultless.... More

We have just got back from this fantastic B&B, the room we stayed in, the Mackintosh, was beautifully decorated with lots of special little touches. We arrived to champagne, chocolates and rose petals on the bed. My partner, with the help of Linda, the owner, had planned to propose and Linda had made a beautiful little card especially for me... We have just arrived back from Kings Acre North Cornwall. The website introduction states that it is a B&B with a little difference, but let me tell you, it is very different and first class. We booked the indulgence package - to celebrate our anniversary - we were treated extremely well. The package included a bottle of Champaign on arrival,... More
