The Rising Sun is a friendly and welcoming old fashioned pub selling proper local beer and simple but tasty food. Not a restaurant, not a wine bar, just a darned good pub! Its setting in an unspoilt cove is a bonus. We enjoyed visiting several times during our week in a nearby holiday cottage.

We had a lovely stay at The Rising Sun Inn earlier this year. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was wonderful and kept us going for the whole day!! Our room was rather cramped but adequate as we were only there to sleep. Mevagissey was 10-15 minutes walk away but beware the hill on the way back :)
