We stayed here for one night en route to visit friends in Cornwall and to visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan again. We found it by chance on good old Booking dot com and were very pleased with our discovery. Mark and Francesca, we learnt, took over the place only a couple of years ago and have evidently worked very... More

We stayed here for three nights and had a great time. The room (no. 4) was tastefully decorated and very peaceful. The en-suite was adequate and clean. We just wished there was a little more space in the room to have a small chair to put your clothes on or to sit and read your book, rather than having to... More

i laughed to read the review from someone who felt that the dog & cat here should "be confined to quarters".. How someone can object to a cat sitting about??!! It does make clear on the info that these pets are there. Anyway we were with our dog so obviously biased :-) Had 2 nights here and ate in on... More

My wife Denise and i stayed here over the weekend of 26th - 27th May to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we could not have picked a better place. The welcome from Francesca was briliant, and the sheer romance and locationof this place is second to none. The quality of the food in the restauarant is exceptional, and the breakfst... More

Stayed here with friends excellent location for the Eden Project only 4 miles down the road. Under going extensive refurbishment, lovely garden and outside area. room was very small, equally tiny bathroom. Food good.

The Waterwheel Inn is a family run B&B with a great restaurant and something interesting at the bottom of the garden. My daughter and I stayed there when we visited the Eden Project and were very happy we did. The room was comfortable and clean with tea and coffee making facilities, TV and toiletries in the bathroom. Francesca and Mark... More

This is a family run restaurant and bed and breakfast. The menu was extensive with specials on each day. The evening meals were freshly cooked and superb. The breakfast is also hearty and a full English. The room was clean, bright and comfortable (room 8). There were 4 of us (two couples) and we stayed for three nights. The hotel... More

My Wife and I stayed at the Waterwheel with two friends for their Anniversary. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Although primary a restaurant the B&B was very comfortable with a superb breakfast. The food in the Restaurant was very good, with good portions at a reasonable price, so much so we ate there every night, so plenty... More

We stayed here for one night and had a great stay. The Waterwheel Inn is located in a lush valley next to a stream. I recommend walking down along the stream to the well, it's a lovely little spot. Our room was clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was delicious with perhaps the best mushrooms I ever had.
