We are not big fans of B&Bs and a lot of "frou-frou," but we found that this place really worked for us. We look forward to our return to Manitoulin Island and staying at the Cedarwood Lodge. We usually camp when we are in Manitoulin Island but this year decided to try a B&B near the beautiful beach at Providence Bay. Cedarwood Lodge is an easy walk/ride to the beach and we were pleasantly surprised at the accommodations available at Cedarwood at such a reasonable price. We will never camp again! Rustic apartment located in the basement of owner's home. Bedroom is small and dark fake wood panelling, one very small window. Bathroom is very small, kitchen was a good size, full size fridge was nice, sitting area with older furniture, fake wood panelling, one window. Found apartment to be dark with little air movement. When you drive up you see the most beautiful natural English garden setting with 3 gazebo's set up for outdoor dining complete with bbq, an outdoor kitchen with fridge, freezer, all all possible utensils and dishes needed.
