Literally 1 minute from the sea, but protected from beach which is good. Small pool and volleyball court - nice but unused in the 3 nights I stayed there. I am don't do back packers often, but my collegue wanted to stay here. Staff and patrons friendly. No rooms with ensuites. People were smoking on verandahs making rooms a bit smelly. The bolts on many of the showers and toilets were broken. Close to town, beach and facilities

Great time here, was a byo hostel which was really nice !!!!!!! rooms were clean and was right on the beach!!!!!!! Had a few good nights out which was part of the hostel & would definitely go backl!!!!nothing bad to report!!! Just didnt like having to give deposits for cuttlery!!!! good times

I don't do hostels so often, but this one was great! Friendly atmosphere, clean restrooms and kitchen and very close to the beach! Quite noisy during the night but whatever, it's normal in a hostel! And if you wanna go to the city centre, just 5 minutes walking.

Really enjoyed my stay at backpackers inn. Generally clean rooms, showers and toilets decent, nice pool and gardens. kitchen could use some new pots pans knives etc but generally ok and plenty provided for all to use. Great access to the beach just out the back and short walk into town.

A really nice beach access that makes the pool useless. Nice hammocks and a good backyard. Need to bring your own sleeping bag or hire one. Showers and toilets are old but acceptable. Free pickups and drop offs at the bus station, but it is so close that there is actually no need to do so.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Pretty decent hostel, friendly staff and quite close to all the amenities in town. Quite annoying that the kitchen closed for a full hour during the day, not that.big of a kitchen so think half an hours sufficient. I've been to byron 5 times and this place rocks ... Great costumer service , very clean ! Free push bikes , great pool , big rooms walk to the beach from courtyard very well organized , if ever I'm going back I will be book here again ! Also believe it or not great for family's ...

When i arrived to the hostel, that i booked 1,5 months in advance (3 nights) they told le that they were fully booked so i had to switch rooms during my stay...common i booked it 6 weeks before! I asked for compensation, couldnt give me anything... asked again.. got a bit of free wifi... then i arrived in my room..... More
