Bamboo cottage is a dog friendly B&B with excellent communication from the owner Bernice and we were looked after beautifully by Jules the house manager. We stayed in the Bali Bunya cottage which is divine and excellent for our little dogs who have the secure garden out the back of the cottage. It is great value for money - central,... More

Thankyou Jules for making our stay at the Bamboo Cottage a relaxing 3 nights, you were so warm and inviting and you made it so relaxing that we felt right at home.It was great meeting and chatting to all our fellow travellers and learning about their experiences over a cuppa in the large communal area. The rooms were large and... More

We've now stayed with BC three or four weekends in the last eight weeks and continue to return to this quaint, comfortable home away from home for a few reasons; one, good value for money when compared with other B&Bs and hotels in the area, two, the location - far enough away from the noise of Johnson St but still... Yet again we had a wonderful time at Bamboo Cottage. The hospitality was amazing. It's the people that manage these places greeting u with a warm smile that make u feel instantly at peace in the surroundings. A true treasure of place. Thanks so much Jules for making our stay so special. More

I felt at home while staying at Bamboo Cottage. The atmosphere is serene, the small garden is lush and the rooms comfortable. Jules is a very friendly, committed and organised manager who wants you to have the best stay. More

I made a 5 night booking by phone with the owner of Bamboo Cottage. We had a misunderstanding about the cancellation terms, and when I phoned back the owner became very defensive and upset. I would not recommend doing business with Bamboo Cottage based on the owner's approach to the long term value of customer relationships. More

It is difficult for me to read this kind of review as, having owned this popular and successful guesthouse for over 14 years, I take pride in the fair way I run my business. All accommodation owners take credit card details to secure and guarantee a reservation for both parties and there are written cancellation conditions. My conditions (which are... More

Bamboo Cottage grounds is a beautiful place to recharge from the busyness of Byron Bay. The house has a beautiful energy and I felt at home whilst staying at Bamboo Cottage. The Manager Jules looks after the place very well and was very efficient with any requirement I may of had. I only have one suggestion: During my stay there... More

Bamboo cottage is lush. I come from a place called Noosa, like Byron bay, Noosa is a beach side paradise coated with many national parks. As i live in a world class holiday destination you might find it hard to impress me when it comes to natural beauty. The Bamboo cottage encompasses immense amounts of natural beauty, casual atmosphere and... More

Advertised as a B & B but you have to pay for a very minimal breakfast. We declined as there were cockroaches in the kitchen and the fridge/freezer needs a good defrosting and clean. Facilities are available ie kitchen, oven, laundry but you are encouraged not to use them. Could be a great place, just needs to decide what it... More

This property needs some attention. There are many charming aspects to the home and the location is terrific but many things left a lot to be desired. First of all, this is really not a bed and breakfast. You can buy some cereal and milk for breakfast or you can buy something small and leave it in the very old... More
