We stayed here with our 3 month old baby and booked the accommodation based on their website saying it is 1200m walk to town or 800m along the beach. We thought this would be a nice stroll out of town away from all the noise and there were some local shops for coffee and eating so all would be good.... More

We stayed with 3 people in a 2 bedroom unit in March 2012 (first weekend) during the Byron Bay Film Festival. It was a last minute decision because the weather in Sydney was so bad. We planned for a late arrival and had pleasant communication with the reception when booking, the lady explained to us where to find the key... More

East on Byron is a very relaxing hotel to stay at in Byron Bay. Belongil Beach is across the quiet road from the hotel and the heart of Byron is a two to three minute drive away. You could walk but this could become quite tiresome where you were making regular trips to the restuarants and shops in Byron. The... More

Ohhh! What a gaff, but with these prices, get the kids enthused, polite, and makin' sure they clean up proper! The architecture and pool are style-o, but why is the frontage business space defunct? Get some vibrancy going here and it would fulfill it's potential. I'm talking D.J.s & cocktails, Cafe del Mar stylee. C'mon let's give it some, because... More

Thank you for your comments. We are delighted that you found our apartments wonderful. East on Byron do not own the frontage business space, it is privately owned and has been going through a few changes. In a couple of weeks there will be a bistro-bar opening there which will be operated by the owners of the Beach Cafe - one... More

Booked a 3 bedroom apartment on line. At the time of booking i knew it only had one bathroom but unbeknownst to me, you could only access the bathroom through the second bedroom. You also could only access the third bedroom through the second bedroom. For the unfortunate couple in that room, there was no privacy and constant traffic through... More

Stayed at East on Byron over the Easter Break. The apartment was spacious - perfect for a family of four. The high ceilings in the upstairs apartments gave an added feeling of spaciousness. The resort was quiet - probably due to the easter prices keeping younger, noisier types accommodated elsewhere. The beach (despite it being Easter) over the road from... More

We stayed at East on Byron for 3 nights in late March. On first impression, it seemed a little out of the way but this ended up being a great way to relax and enjoy a quiet holiday in Byron. We were in an upstairs two bedroom apartment which was very spacious and well decked out. The huge sliding doors... More

I found my stay at East on Bryon to be more refreshing than previously trips to Bryon. The resort was quiet and the staff were very approachable. With only a five minute drive to heart of Bryon the location made it convenient yet still fair enough out to enjoy my stay. Previously I had stayed in the center of town... More

After just returning from a weekend girls trip, staying at East on Byron, I cannot recommend this resort enough. The room was beautifully present upon our arrival, instantly making you relax into the tranquil environment. Perfectly located a short walk out of the city, allowing you to enjoy the peace and quiet that the main beach does not necessarily offer.... More

I stayed here recently with a group of friends in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was amazing. The living and kitchen area was huge, and we walked directly out into a huge pool/spa area. We had so much space to ourselves and the location was perfect for a quieter holiday. The beach is directly across the road, away from... More
