We spent two nights here in January, good location straight across the street from the main chair lift, the hotel is a bit of a maze so you can spend some time trying to find your way out of the building and back to your room again can be a bit of fun. Overall we found that the service and... More

Just wanted to thank you & the TAH staff for a great week-end organising the Porsche event. The staff were very accommodating, lounge area with open fire was an excellent gathering place. All 36 people have commented what a great venue & meals, great drives & even putting on the snow. The general feeling is that this should be an... More

Spent 3 nights here recently. From start to finish it was dreadful. Our bookings were hopelessly wrong. Our room had a king size bed which meant you couldn't move in the room. Our beds were not made once in 3 days. We did get somebody knock and give us fresh towels. I guess during the ski season there would be... More

We stayed for two nights while on a motor-cycle tour of the snowy. The hotel is right in the centre of Thredbo Village, with easy access to village shops, restaurants, bakery etc. The rooms are adequate, with a good bed, new TV, and good showers in the bathroom. We had a sensational view of the mountains. I'd stay there again. More

Not having been to Thredbo in Summer for about thirty years I chose the Thredbo Alpine Hotel as it was well located for dining at the local restaurants which might be open over Easter and close to the chairlift for mountain activities. I booked a "Mountain Escape Package" which included 3 nights accommodation, breakfast, lift passes, a picnic and 1 dinner... More

Stayed in this hotel for a late-summer (March) weekend to walk up Mount Kosciuzsko, the highest peak in Australia. The hotel was pretty well located, across the road from the chair-lift and close to all the local bars and restaurants. My third-floor room overlooking the carpark was nice enough, but fairly small and dated. Whilst the bed was huge and... More

Rustic charm, small but clean rooms, convenient to chairlifts and village shops, no lifts for those who struggle with stairs, poor TV reception, no internet or WiFi connection in rooms, friendly staff and overall a pleasant place to stay. More
