Liked it. Selected suite because I needed to work, but the second room is another bedroom. Owner very accommodating and rearranged furniture to make a table a desk. Bed VERY high and a bit hard for my taste, but all in all, a nice B&B within walking distance of restaurants and shops in the area. More

Pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Bancroft. Our room was IMMACULATE and very roomy (we stayed in the suite). Mike, the innkeeper was friendly and very professional. This beautiful B&B is impeccably clean and well designed for the comfort of guests. The rooms are graceful and full of character: mine had its own private sun porch. Very conveniently located in my parents' hometown. Can walk uptown to shops and restaurants. The owner, Mike, is always available to help with your needs. Rooms are a delight, with very comfortable beds, elegant pillows and linens, and modern private bathrooms. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. More

Enjoyed our stay at the Bancroft Manor B&B. Room was very nice, clean, and cool on a 90 degree afternoon. Bed was comfy and the sitting room was quaint with a mural that reminded me of Longwood Gardens. Bancroft Manor is a beautiful, historic home filled with antiques, on a residental street within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The host is very friendly. The breakfast was ok, not great. The place is beautiful, but not really coozy. Newlyweds beware, the bed in our room was very squeaky! More
