I chose this hotel based on its proximity to the Spooky Nook Sports Complex. I will not make that mistake again. It felt like the hotel hasn’t been updated in 30 years. Not a single working ice machine on the property. Breakfast consisted of make your own waffles or toast a stale bagel. I travel a lot and stay in hotels from ⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This place is a one star kind of place. My advice to ownership - Fix the broken things (like the ice machines) Update the property (the sofa in my room needed to be tossed in the trash and the carpet in the hallway needs to go with it.

Pros: The staff I met were friendly and helpful beyond what I expected. The place has a bit of a country vibe with comfy sofas in the lobby and rocking chairs on the front porch. Bathroom was up to date and clean. The white hotel linens were clean, mattresses were decent. Coffee in the lobby was shockingly good. Cons: While the sheets and bedding seemed really clean, surfaces like the curtains, high touch areas on the room door, and the arms of the easy chair were visibly dirty. Yuck. My room lacked the privacy curtain, it had been removed and not replaced, so you either had room darkening shades or zero privacy from the parking lot. We were there two nights, Friday to Sunday, and they don't do maid service for that length of stay. Breakfast is free, but mostly white flour and white sugar options. As noted in other reviews there is some offputting signage in the breakfast area (STOP signs at the door) LOL. I guess people have exploded eggs in the microwave a few times so now there's signage about it. First time I've had a US hotel room with no carpet. Not a fan. Probably led to hearing more noise from the room upstairs. Farm smell was smellable outside but hey you're in farm country.

Stayed here for a family wedding. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Facility was clean and appeared well maintained. Room was a king suite. Sitting area was sparse and dark with a loveseat with paint stains. Bathroom was clean, with adequate towels, but no shampoo or conditioner and only a very small thin soap about two inches square. Bed was comfortable with enough pillows. Coffee and tea available day and night. Breakfast was continental style with an option for a Belgian waffle.

We had a block of rooms for my sons wedding. This was a combining of 2 wonderful families, many meeting for the first time. The staff at Lancaster Inn made us feel welcome and accommodated us any way they possibly could. It was a truely wonder experience. A special thanks to Rebecca and Shaimaa.

Nice hotel, clean. Breakfast was average, no hot food other than make your own waffles. Room was a nice size, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. We did not use the pool. Ample parking, good lighting at night.

As I just read reviews I was surprised by the awful ones left I guess like the saying goes you can please everyone. My wife and I booked an overnight stay because we had things to do in lancaster. When we arrived and walked in I thought not bad actually looks pretty good. We went to front desk and were immediately greeted by a gentleman and a young lady who was so polite and even spoke to her about her country Egypt and it was a pleasure speaking with her.I handed a man my credit card and the woman said give them the suite she said for $25 I'll upgrade you I replied deal. We went to our room 311 and it was actually a seperate eating area with couch,tv,sink,2 burner stove top, small table with 2 chairs, behind door #2 was a bathroom with shower, behind door#3 a jacuzzi tub,bed with fluffy clean comforter and sheets and pillows, another tv it was a really nice set up. We decided to take a swim the pool was nice not a real large pool but nice and it was really warm out so it was very refreshing. Their must have been 60 cars in the parking lot and I said to my wife around 10pm this is crazy you could hear a pin drop on carpet it was very quiet. We woke up and went down for breakfast if their was 1 thing that could change I would want a better selection maybe some scrambled eggs, sausage patties however they had waffles, coffee, orange juice ,yogurt, bagels, few other things. Overall the hotel seemed very decent yes it could maybe use a touch up here or their but most importantly it was quite, clean and comfortable.

Outside of hotel smells like sewage. Once we arrived at front desk I learned that my reservation was not active and I was charged for the prior week, although I did not arrive. The hotel will argue that i was a no show, however this was not caught by hotel staff during a succession of emails 2 days before I arrived when I requested a room change. I wouldn’t have stayed here regardless of unauthorized funds taken from my account due to the overall urine smell and unkept building.

The staff is rude and have no uniform. With the exception of the Mennonite woman the staff wore sweatpants and t shirts and overall appeared disheveled. Their appearance matched their attitudes. The hotel was dirty, no working ice machines and the room reeked of mold. The first night the window collapsed inside and we spent the rest of our visit with a chair propped against it. Housekeeping was abysmal. More often than not they didn’t empty the garbage and never, ever made the beds. In the mornings, there was always dead insects stuck in the bathroom sink. There’s a Comfort Suites up the road - it can’t be worse than this place.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I come to Lancaster. I have family here so it’s convenient. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about what’s going on in the area. There was just a small problem in my room and they felt badly so they accommodated us by placing us in a king suite. Completely unexpected but so appreciated. Plus they have an incredible hot breakfast. I will stay here every time I visit!
