Very nice campground, very friendly employees, great clientell. It is pricey compared to other camgrounds, but well worth the extra cost for a family outing with small children. Only downfall is cost of other activities. They charge extra for EVERYTHING! And not just a small fee, everything is very expensive. Everything they advertise is there, but costs big money on... We stayed here enroute to the east coast. Though the store/check-in was painfully slow, it was worth the wait. We left there well rested and rejuvinated. The air conditioned bathrooms were an unexpected treat. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was our first time staying at a KOA. We were blown away. We camped in a tent with 3 small children. We booked a site with water/electric (a must). The restroom facilities and showers are very nice and super clean. In fact, the whole place was clean and neatly kept. There were plenty of staff around all the time... More

Its a great place to go camping in a tent or cabin. We do every year and for the last three years have spent a week here just relaxing. Great ran campground. Lots of stuff to do from renting banana bikes to fishing in the pond. Good price's on cabins and tent sites. The kids look forward to it as... More

Some family members as well as myself had gone to Jamestown by motorhome to see the Lucy-Desi Center. On our way home we decided to stop here. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. IF I remember right, this is the place that has the 'Elk Creek Mining Company, Gemstones & Fossil Panning'. We were looking around in the shop and... More

This was a fist time family vacation for my newly blended family and it was awesome. I was so amazed at how family friendly and the abundance of activities for the kids. There was plenty of things to do. The bathrooms were very clean and great water pressure. We stayed in a one room cabin which was perfect for us.... More

We normally camp in National Forest or National Park campgrounds, so our forays into full hook-up campgrounds are infrequent. The Erie KOA is densely populated, but is one of the quietest, CLEANEST campgrounds we've visited. We spent two days biking/beaching/kayaking at Presque Isle State Park in Erie, with the KOA as our base. If we do a similar trip, we'll... More

Just spent three nights here and wasn't sure what to expect since we usually camp in Ohio State Parks. On the pro side, the staff is all extremely helpful and friendly, and there is always someone around if you need help. Lots of activities are planned especially with kids in mind. Extremely close to Presque Isle SP without the insanity... More

Warning: if you intend to stay here, for the love of everything pure and good about camping, call in your reservation. We made a reservation online, even put the deposit down, and our reservation was messed up. We requested a site by the pond, our reservation confirmation said we got that site. We got there late at night, set up... More

I haven't been camping in 8 years but thought it would be nice to go with my daughter (15) as our last trip of the summer. I knew KOA's were supposed to be clean so we chose Erie for Labor Day weekend. We were greated by very friendly people and were to follow a golf cart to get to our... More
