I have been admiring this property for several years. I have eaten in bot restaurants and enjoyed the peaceful porch. This weekend I finally stayed overnight. I can see why the Hotel Fauchere has experienced such success and acclaim. The place is impeccable. The finishes are elegant was understated. I loved everything about my room; especially the bed. The staff... More

This was out first stay at a Relaix & Chateaux hotel and we very much enjoyed our visit. The Hotel Fauchere was a beautiful, small hotel in great little town with a lot to do in the surrounding area. Charm is written all over the hotel, inside and out. Our room was small, with a European feel but the amenities... More

We stayed at the Hotel Fauchere for one night--a lovely historic boutique hotel in a historic town. Our experience was top-of-the-line all the way, from our greeting with wine at check-in to an incredibly helpful history lesson and sightseeing recommendations as we checked out, to the hotel itself and its restaurants. It was exactly what I've come to expect from... More

We just got back from a birthday get-away here this past weekend. Overall, a great little hotel. We stayed one night- not sure if there is enough to do in Milford for entire weekend. The spa next door stayed late so we could get massages. We had dinner in the Delmonico Room. It was wonderful but a little long. We... More

Had the experience of spending a night in a restored old hotel in a nice smaller town. The welcome from staff was above board. The room while smaller was nicely kept, well lit and very clean. Old wide planks are exposed on the floor showing the age of the building. A modern bathroom with a comfortable bed made this a... More

Little out of way place. But perfect for a weekend getaway from NYC, the big apple. Great service cozy rooms and peace and quiet. Quaint village with terrific food drinks and service with a home away from home feeling. Must visit if you are in the tristate area.

A friend and I got spring fever this past (warm) weekend and headed for Milford for some hiking and relaxation at the Hotel Fouchere. The hotel overall is elegantly decorated with a composed and controlled hand. Historically beautiful, with deluxe bath amenities, but none of that over-the-top, dusty and claustrophobic feel many country inns can have. We dined at Bar... More

My husband and I needed a relaxing break and decided to try out Hotel Fauchère. Well we were certainly not disappointed! The customer service was impeccable..... Our every need was met with a pleasant attitude from all the staff. The bathroom was eloquently detailed ... Heated floor and towel racks..... And a large walk-in shower..... All designed nicely in natural... More

My husband and I just stayed here for a mini anniversary getaway. We wanted to just eat and lump around. I had high hopes of a charming, romantic place when I decided to stay at a hotel with only 16 rooms. I have to say that I was a little disappointed. The room itself was adequate but it can use... It's rare that my wife and I can spend a few days together and the Hotel Fauchere is the perfect getaway spot. This was our 2nd visit and even though the weather was not cooperative, it did not dampen our experience. The staff is very friendly and there is great attention to detail. The rooms are 'cozy' by modern standards... More
