We were there 2 weeks ago and found it to be one of the nicest campground ever. It is the best of camping in the state parks in nature with the comforts of home. Spring Gulch is not what is used to be...we arrived at 9pm to find no one at the front office and no access into the gated campground. Although we can appreciate the safety precaution we didn't appreciate an office that claims to close@  9pm on weekdays leaving a voicemail message that they were gone for the day at 530 pm.... More

We had a great time at Spring Gulch! The staff were friendly and very helpful. A bolt got bent on our camper and within 3 minutes of asking for help, a staff member came by with tools to help fix it. Once again our group camped here for Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The activities for the kids are great and the sites are clean and well-kept. The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. The only downside to our experience was the bathroom and shower facilities. They could really use some work and updating.
