Great campground! It would have been perfect if the wifi was working. The kids loved fishing with nets in the creek. Our little girl had a wonderful time doing the craft projects over the weekend and the campground was filled with many kind families with lots of kids to play with. The staff was wonderful. The owner even came and... More

This is an amazing campground. Me and my family enjoyed it a lot. We were close to the park and close to the pool as well. The park is fun for my little brother and the pool was warm and big. We had activities at the pool and hayrides. I stayed for my b-day and the game of life weekend.... More

I really liked this campground. My husband, friends and I all enjoyed it. We went during the week so it was not crowded. Even though the tents sites are close together it doesnt appear that way since there is plenty of trees to buffer between sites. The tent sites are in a area called the ballfield but that doesnt mean... More

We stayed here during there hero's weekend and received a night free for being veteran. Very well maintained campground. Sites are roomy and spacious. Tons of things to do for kids. Pool is awesome and very clean. General store has almost everything you could need. The only thing that we saw that could be an issue is the road coming... More

I checked out the reviews here when I was looking for a campground for my family and I could not belive that anyone would write anything negative about this campground. I have stayed at plenty of campgrounds over the past years and this one beats all. Plenty of bathrooms and showers, clean The staff is very helpful and my kids... More

I am not used to staying at this type of facility, but I was pleseantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I was with a group, and we were in the area for a concert festival. we had two sites near each other close to the ball field. My first pleasant surprise was how wooded and large the sites... More

It's been 10 years since our first stay here and we will be back. We stay with friends, all tent campers, with kids from 6 to 15. We arrived during torrential downpours and the ballfield sites were flooded. We prefer the ballfield area as we can let the kids loose on the field. (sidenote: There is an unsightly, but harmless,... We have stayed at 25+ campgrounds in the past few years... from state parks *practically free* to "resort" types... NEVER did we stay at a place that was such a rip off. For $50 a night there are TWO showers for the ENTIRE campground and only FOUR bathrooms- you are talking, hundreds and hundreds of people. Sights are RIGHT on... More

We stayed here with several other families for Heroes Weekend. Had a great time with the activities, including fishing in the lake. Was a bit disappointed with the site we were assigned for two reasons - 1) it was difficult getting into our site because of where the trees were located and 2) there was a huge collection of stagnant... We were a group of 17 and this was our first time to Colonial Woods. We will surely return. We are tent campers and had a great time. We really lucked out on the weather (Labor Day weekend)!! The campground was clean and well kept. The sites were very spacious. We were adjacent to an open space that was titled... More
