This was not our first trip to Charleston, but our first stay at the Doubletree and it definitely won't be our last! We had a lovely 2 room suite than included a mini-fridge & wet bar. It wasn't large but very comfortable - and hard to find in the Historic District, quiet! Our room faced an inner courtyard and with... More

Located in the heart of Charleston convenient to the Market, shops & eateries. It was kept very clean. Only wish the bathroom had double sinks so both my husband & I could get ready at same time. One complaint, the TV did not work part of the time but we spent very little time in room & they had company... More

I am a Hilton loyalist so I stayed here on business for a few days. As others have said this hotel is perfectly, and I mean perfectly, located. It just doesnt get better. The hotel has different pros and cons.I'll outline them below: Pros: 1. Location. . Right in the heart of Charleston 2. Valet's were friendly and efficient 3.... More

I just returned from Charleston and enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree. The location was great, the staff was warm and helpful. The suite was large and comfortable, the housekeeping staff did a thorough job keeping everything ship shape. I would stay here again. More

PERFECT location right in the heart of the best restaurants, night life and all that is downtown Charleston but only a short ride to Isle of Palms beach (public restrooms and changing make it best of both worlds!!) Beautiful property and friendly~helpful staff! Love the valet parking! We will definitely choose this hotel again!! More

I attended a conference at this hotel in April, 2012. Really great location, friendly staff, excellent food, and very nice suite. All in all, an excellent experience from the hotel and the conference facilities. The bartender was very nice for afternoon happy hour and there were a couple of hotel guests that he asked if they wanted "the regular". Of... More

We just returned from our visit to Charleston and our overall hotel stay was average. The hotel is located in a very central location near King St. and close to many restaurants and shopping. When we pulled up to the curb of the charming building, we were immediately greeted by a friendly and helpful valet. When we walked into the... More

Our stay started out with a fresh, hot cookie and an early check-in. We noticed that in our room, there was a recycling trash can, which is great. We had a small living room which was comfortable and well lit. Even though we were right off the sidewalk, we did not hear any outside noise. Nor did we hear much... More

Thank you for the review of our hotel. We are glad you had a wonderful experience with us. As in my title, the location is good - right across from the market, walking distance to many great restaurants, and the carriage rides are right across the street as well. We also walked over to the waterfront a few times - nice area with benches and swinging chairs. The service personnel at the front desk and in the breakfast... More
