We only had one night in Charleston so we wanted to be centrally located but did not want to pay $300-400 a night. We had the added problem of travelling with our malti poo. On the website "Bring Fido.com" we found the best price for a pet friendly room (with taxes $130 plus a $1t5 pet fee at check-in). Only... More

I was lucky enough to have stayed at two hotels, over two days, one block away from each other. This was the cheaper of the two, and it showed it. The other was a Holiday Inn property at 115 Meeting street (Mills House). This Days Inn had a minimal room, with poor water pressure, clean enough, free parking, and in... More

Got a great rate, the location in historic downtown is awesome, but the noise from outside the hotel (traffic, parking lot, drunk people in the parking lot, big trucks backing up, construction....was incredible. So Leave your air on all night long, and bring earplugs. Hotel employees were just okay, same with housekeeping. Not enough parking at hotel for all the... More

It has free parking which is a great bonus for the historic district. It is just a block away from the City Market and there are trolley stops nearby. We only used our car for part of one day before we checked out. Nice clean linens, comfortable bed and pillow, and I felt safe there. (my 2 requirements, clean and... More

To think the chain Wyndam attached their name to this group! I booked a 3-night stay in late June for a present to 3-grandchildren for passing their grades this year, about 30 days ago. Now the 3 grands cannot come along. I tried to cancel my reservation, with over 30+ days ahead of arrival. Days inn, refused to let me... More

The room was clean. The staff is very nice. This is a Days Inn. Don't expect it to be great , just average. Parking is a major problem. If you get a spot don't move!!! Double parking blocking you in is a problem. Don't expect to leave early, you will be blocked in. More

One of the cheapest hotels in the historic district. Hotel is rundown, but the room was clean. There were some rust spots and dirt on the baseboards in the bathroom, but this stuff was due to age and not a lack of cleanliness. They were replacing furniture while we were there. Best part is parking is FREE, and there were... More

The service good from front desk. The rooms are very worn out, however clean. The ability to park your car at no charge is a big plus. They need some new carpeting, and much more. The House manager is extremely nice. More

Its a Days Inn... You get exactly what a Days Inn offers.- decent. Great location, great price, clean. The parking situation is stressful. Park your car and leave it. Toast downstairs has excellent homemade desserts! More
