Two friends and I recently stayed at the AP Inn recently and had a most wonderful experience. The entire staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful and generally making our staff memorable. Morning breakfast (complimentary) on the rooftop was an excellent start to our sightseeing escapades. The inn is located in the heart of where you need to... More

I've been to Charleston many times and this is one of my favorite places to stay. We had a huge room...the townhouse room with our own balcony and it was very reasonably priced! Loved the breakfast and the free pass to the ECO gym. Great location and wonderful staff! More

My husband and I recently stayed here for 4 nights. Our room had really old wood floors and very nice crown molding. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a little tight, but also nicely furnished. Breakfast was good. They offered biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, pastries, and a different type of casserole each day. The front... we stayed at A.P.I. May 2011, small bargin room which was small, but clean and very enjoyable as we did not spend a lot of time there. The morning breakfast was very good on the roof patio crowded at times but well worth it.Check in was smooth and staff was excellent and very helpful answering questions. Location was also excellent,... More

I think the title sums it up. Location is great but the room was not all that for the money. I guess they know they can get it and don't care about the quality. The staff was friendly...rooms were just lame for the price. Look somewhere else. More

What a lovely hotel right in the middle of down town old Charleston, bags of charm and old style hospitality. Easy to book and deal with, real friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable rooms with all you need for a visit to Charleston. The reception staff helped with arranging sight seeing tours and advice on where to go and what... More

We were able to spend just a day in Charleston but staying at API gave us a sense of the charm and ambiance of the city. The expanded continental breakfast in that delightful setting on the rooftop was a special treat. The location was great. If I were to visit again, I would probably check some nearby accommodations. This room... More

As everybody else has pointed out this Inn is very well located, well within walking distance of Charleston's many attractions. Our room was lovely with nice big comfy beds and a view, even if it was just buildings and a line with trainers hanging from it. The reception area is outstanding with coffee, lemon drink and biscuits available. One very... More

My husband and I just spent two nights at the Andrew Pinckney and we loved it. The front desk staff was gracious and helpful, the bellman friendly, and the breakfast servers at the generous continental breakfast went above and beyond any expectations. The location, as has been noted, is really perfect. Right in the historic district so you could easily... More

Very charming hotel in a GREAT location. It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. Our room was not that well appointed but still met our needs just fine. We only saw the staff for check-in, but they were very accomodating. When I was looking for a room at this Inn, I could not find... More
