I enjoyed my stay here very much. I loved the decor. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good and very filling. The factor that stands out is the service. There was a mixup with our reservation, which was not the hotel's mistake, but they upgraded us to a much better room at the same rate. More

My daughter and I were heading through Charleston on our way home from a lengthy road trip. Our stay at the John Rutledge House Inn was very delightful. Beautiful house. Attentive, helpful staff. Each room and each hallway has amazing 100+ year old parquet floors, each with a unique design. Supposedly, the carpenter (a true craftsman) took 8 years to create the floors. More
