What a wonderful experience at the Residence Inn. The suite was just perfect for us to sit and visit the past, present and future of our family life for 5 days. I asked for a handicap bathroom and that worked out real well, also. All the personal were very friendly and helpful. Gave excellent advice on things to do and... More

I joined my sibling's family for my niece's graduation from the College of Charleston so we had a suite for 5 people. The suite part was nice as it had a kitchen, but more importantly, a 'living room' setting for us to chat. The beds were wonderful and the staff was excellent at providing suggestions AND were able to get... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights here while visiting Charleston. We were a little concerned with the location not being walkable to historic district but then when we saw the savings to stay a little furthur (just over a mile) and realized the perk of the shuttle,, all was just fine. Check in was easy, the girls behind the... More

Not located exactly downtown, a shuttle bus runs 5 pm - 11pm each evening, shared with the Springhills next door. So we taxied, $5 per person, in the morning and shuttled back. Very helpful front desk staff, always 2 on duty so no waiting for help. Good size room with typical Residence Inn facilities but the bed was so soft... More

We spent 4 nights at the Residence Inn the location is great, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The carpet in the hallway was dirty. We had problems with the water temperature while taking a shower it would get cold. Problems with the thermostat, we would set it for 74 degrees and it would switch to 85.... More

I stayed in a NC Marriott Residence Inn last week, and while on business in Charleston, SC, thought I'd try this Marriott Residence Inn. Another exceptionally pleasing experience. I have a suite with a queen bed, kitchen accomodations, a wonderful sitting room that I could quietly isolate myself to read in if I had family with me! Excellent room for... More

Nice room, clean, just small for a one bedroom suite. It was spring break so the hotel was sold out. I found it to be a little noisy, especially on Friday night. It was a great for the proximity to Charleston as well as some of the beaches. The evening shuttle to downtown Charleston was great, no worries about parking,... More

The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the HD. We stayed here using a Marriott certificate. We arrived around 4:00 pm. We had booked a 1 bedroom King suite. We were given a King studio. Room was fine for 2 of us. We did not complain about the switch. It would not have been what we preferred if traveling... More

We stayed at this Residence Inn on Marriott points so price is not a factor in this review. This was the closest Marriott we could book and at first were disappointed we weren't downtown until we realized how easy it was to get there. The hotel provides an evening shuttle into the Market area as well. I also selected this... More

I gave my son and daughter-in-law three nights here as a gift for their eleventh anniversary. I have heard nothing but rave reviews for this hotel. Since they were there the 17Th- 20TH of March, the hotel was packed with those celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Check in was fast and the staff always on task. My daughter-in-law said their room...
