Stayed at this Embassy Suites during some business meetings one week. The hotel staff is very friendly and professional. My room was comfortable but a little tight. The room walls were a bit thin as reported in some other reviews. I give the hotel credit for making sure the air conditioning and the hot water work properly. My room was... More

We stay here when attending family events, so our trips are usually more function than vacation. Honestly, I just don't have any complaints. While I'm not in love with the decor, every single member of the staff is amazing. The location is fantastic, the breakfast (included) is far better than you'd expect, and there's a complimentary happy hour every evening... More

Have stayed here twice now. Nice hotel, typical Embassy Suites, although it's in an historical builiding so that makes it a little different. I actually had a gun turret in my room! Great location - close to alot of things and walking distance to most. This hotel backs up to King Street so restaurants and shopping are right there. It's... More

This is not your typical Embassy Suites since it is in a historical building that has been converted to a hotel. It has all the ammenties associated with an Embassy Suites but the rooms are not as large and the walls seemed a little thin. It does have a nice patio to sit out and enjoy your drink from the... This was a nice stay for my wife and I. The rooms are a little dated, but everything else was great. Front desk was awesome. The embassy suites is very close to King St, but about a 15 minute walk to Market St. More

The attitude of every staff member with whom we came in contact was pleasant and helpful. Our favorite was the concierge, Frank --- a true gentleman who could not have been more attentive. The best part of our stay was the happy hour every night in the hotel lobby --- we met so many wonderful people. The very clean and... More

My husband and I went her for our Anniversary. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice for a old building. The air conditioner was not working when we got there but within an hour they had it fixed. The breakfast was great, they had a buffet style breakfast and made omeletes to order. The managers reception was awesome,... More

We stayed at the Embassy Suites to attend the Family Cup tennis tournament in April. There was easy to access the highway for the drive to Daniel Island. The suites were a nice set-up for two friends traveling together. One down side to the suites--the bathroom was very small. Also, the A/C was not great--there were basically two temperatures: freezing... More

Great check in experience, incredible historical ambiance at this fine hotel. Service and friendliness is above average. Breakfast and managers welcome cocktails were excellent. Location for all area attractions and fine dining is perfect. Bellhops very knowledgeable with surrounding area. BTW, Charlie and Patty are both an excellent host in disguise, singing most off the day in the grand hallway.... More

They don't fawn all over you here like they do at the swankier hotels (I had to call the bellman over to get the car in bags.), but the room was clean with small bedroom and bigger sitting room. The lobby and atrium is nice and you get free breakfast (including cooked-to-order omelets) and a free cocktail reception every day.... More
