Having stayed here a few years ago, we were happy to find the hotel still clean and comfortable and the staff as friendly as we'd remembered. We chose this hotel when traveling through Columbia because it's just across the street from one of our favorite restaurants, Blue Marlin. If you go there for dinner, try the gumbo -it's great!

We almost always stay at a Hampton Inn when traveling by car due to the cleaniness of their rooms and the wonderful breakfasts they serve. We stay here every year over the July fourth holidays on our way to Charlotte. Love the free parking and downtown location cannot be beat. We walk to all the great bars and restaurants. Always clean but the rooms are on the smallish side.

Really ideal location for bars and food in downtown Columbia. Property seems a bit older, but has been updated with the 'new' Hampton looks.
