I have been to Edisto before and loved it. Rented houses previously. This time I took 2 friends and stayed at an Egrets Pointe Townhouse on the strength of other tripadvsor reviews and was not disappointed. The rates were better than a house. Stayed a week at Egret's Point Condos near the end of Edisto Island in February 2009. Nice two bedroom with full kitchen, washer-dryer, two tv's, and a nice view of a small lagoon out the back side.
