Although in the very outskirts of Charleston requiring about 25 minute drive to downtown, it is a great choice for day visits. Better than normal hotels of its kind it sports a very cordial staff, comfortable beds, good breakfast, easy in/out, close restaurants and an inexpensive stay compared to close in Charleston.
