We stayed here last year in the newer section across the street which was much nicer than Phase I. Two bedrooms & 2 baths were convenient for us and the full kitchen a plus. We were on the first floor and heard lots of noise coming from adjoining 1 bedroom unit and upstairs unit above us. These condos could definitely... More

We stayed here May 6-13 and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very accomadating and helpful and made the stay a pleasure. We plan on coming back and doing this again, the resort is on a great golf course and near excellent courses, restaurants and convient for shopping. The room was right next to the golf course and bar... More

We have stayed at Ellington multiple years. Phase 1 is a little older and could use a fresh coat of paint, but the rooms are big and with a family with younger children a selling point. The condos have a full kitchen, which is great to eat in if you want to avoid the crowds at dinner time. A Food... More

We were recently there with a few families, with ages varying across the board. For golfers, it's a nice stay. The on premise golf course is very convenient and a decent course. For the non-golfers, there wasn't that much to do, especially for the children. The pools are not heated so in April it's impossible to swim in them unless... More

Stayed in this location during the last week of March, 2012 on a golf vacation with friends. We had booked "3-BR Condos" via our trip planner, and this was provided by giving us a 2-BR condo adjacent and connected to a 1-BR condo. Our units were in the "Phase 2" section, which is the newer (south) side, of the road,... More

We stayed there for two nights in october fir a wedding being held there. We booked at the last minute so we had to change rooms after the first night. The second room was even better than the first. Both were huge 3 bedroom units with good kitchen and den. For the price, I was very pleased. The pools and... More

The resort is looking at its best days in their rear view mirror, however, with better management of staff and investments in upgrades and improved maintenance, their best days are yet to come. Location is outstanding and visitors inclined to take long walks will enjoy walking to the Inlet and enjoying the Marsh Walk shops and restaurants. More

The complex was great, pools (indoor & out), hot tubs, golf, other activities. The condos were well kept, somewhat updated & clean. No large screen TVs!!! BUT the noise insulation between the upper & lower levels was non-existent. We heard every footstep, gulp, drop, skid & burp from the individuals above us. Several nights were were awakened in the wee... More

Ellington is the best kept secret in South Carolina, its near enough to Myrtle Beach, to do all you want, but far enough away to be out of the busy, busy traffic. Just a nice small town feeling, great restaurants, pools on site and beaches near by. The units are nice, clean, quiet, MOST of the staff were really nice... More
