I have stayed at the Courtyard several nights over the past few weeks and can say it is a good place to stay in the North Myrtle Beach area. I did not have any problems with keys cards that others have mentioned. Did not see anything in the hotel that I would consider grimy. The staff seemed friendly and helpful... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for several nights in February, and while it was adequate, that was about it. The first sign something was a little "off" was that there was a Marriott Vacation Club salesperson stationed across from the front desk, who badgered us every time we walked by. We did not stop to talk to... More

While Marriott properties are usually consistent for comfortable rooms and good service, this hotel was a disappointment. Despite my Marriott Gold status, we were not given an upgrade, Busy weekend, we were told. No problem, except that the small fridge in the room smelled horrible. The culpret was a rotten, moldy sandwich from a previous guest. A call to the... More

If you're a Marriott hound and deciding to stay either here or at the Fairfield which is about a mile away, choose this Courttyard, its in much better shape. Located on a busy 6-lane but far enough back where noise and view are not an issue, this property opened in 1988 but is still in very good condition. Nice and... More

Got the deal that included $50 gas card, but was just credited $50 instead of gas card. Got to our room and noticed several blood stains on curtain, smudges on fridge and a wet wash cloth under the bed. My husband told the front desk and they acted like it wasn't a big deal. They asked what we wanted them... More

Grandkids were off from school on Monday and mom and grandma were looking for a place for a long weekend. Great AAA rate for a standard room with two queen beds. Close to everything at Barefoot Landing, outlets, shows, dinner, Route 17 by-pass, etc. Couldn't beat the location. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The room was clean and the beds... More

This is our second stay in the past month. My husband and I came alone the first time and enjoyed the room with a king bed. This time we brought our two boys with us, so we stayed in a room with 2 double beds. Each time our rooms were clean and well maintained. If I had to complain, it... More

So many places in Myrtle Beach are just not very clean. I have never had a problem with a Marriott Hotel. Really friendly staff. has a pool and gym too! As soon as we walked in it felt clean. It was a really good price too for our 2 full beds. They also give the baby a pack-n-play. We had... More
