This was my second time staying here. The rooms are pretty much average and they do have a free contineintal breakfast or you can pay for hot buffet breakfast which is a cheap price for a buffet breakfast which was less than $4.00 per person. The staff was super freindly. The room was aprox half the price of the other... More

My husband and I recently spent a night at the Santee, SC, location. Upon entering the room there was a disgusting musty smell. The wall had cracks in it and there were rust stains around the door entry. The bathroom faucet was in need of repair as the knob was wobbly and would not turn to any particular direction except... Room had microwave and refrigerator and it was very clean. This place was surprisingly great for such a low price. Blow dryer, nice tub, carpet was clean, bed was comfortable, and had all the little things a Radisson has too. Free wifi too. The property was in good condition. There is a large pool and a baby pool. We were... More

Great price, clean room, basic free breakfast that could be upgraded to hot breakfast. Avoid rooms on back of hotel...seems to be a feral cat colony near based on cat sightings and the smell of cat urine. Did not effect rooms. More

OMG, I can't believe that others had the same problem as my wife and I. We were driving up 95 from Florida and Santee is a good midway point to New Jersey. We saw the sign at the exit and we thought we were staying in a privately owned hotel with the two people on the Billboard as the proprietors.... More

We drive from Pennsylvania to Florida quite often and it's a 17 hour drive. We usually try to drive 8 hours and stop...this puts us in Santee. We stop at Whitten in because it is pet friendly. It's nothing fancy. Standard outside entrance hotel, may be a bit run down; however, it is very clean. Exceptionally clean. Staff is polite... More

We stayed at the Whitten Inn after traveling up and down I-95 numerous times and normally staying at more expensive properties in the area. We had seen the signs so we thought for one night, we'd give it a shot. Here's what we found. Melissa, the front desk attendant was very helpful and professional and friendly. We asked for a... More

After seeing the billboards along I-95, we decided to check out the Whitten Inn for a change of pace during this work trip. I can't give this place enough kudos!!! First of all, they had what we constantly look for - tractor-trailer parking and pet friendly. The pet fee was also only $5.00! The front lobby was decorated for Halloween... More

I was driving from NYC to Miami with my dog and needed a cheap pet-friendly place to stay. Found this from the road -- after stopping at four other hotels close by to check pricing/amenities and all were significantly more expensive. All I was looking for was a cheap and clean place to sleep overnight before hitting the road again.... More
