The only split level motel I have ever seen. Downstairs rooms dank and like a basement. Nice staff--they did move us to upstairs because of the damp room smell. Lots of stairs, very strange. Pool seemed clean. The town seemed kind of depressed and the hotel was under construction. Fine for one night, but stay upstairs. More

Found bed bugs crawling on bedding while laying in bed working on my computer (Room #260). Informed desk clerk and they moved me to Room 264. Staff at this property are very helpful and knowledgeable about the Huron area. Rooms were clean and warm and I enjoyed swimming in the large pool. The breakfast was wonderful I enjoyed waffles, sausage and biscuits. I especially enjoyed the fresh baked caramel rolls. More

Our reservation somehow was made for a smoking room. I do fault myself for this because the e-mail Super 8 central reservations had sent said it was a smoking room I'd reserved, but I hadn't noticed.
