I have no words to describe how dirty and unkempt this B&B is. I don't think the owners see how run down it is for some reason (maybe due to age, possible eye problems?) and also don't see the literal 1" of dust layered on top of the air conditioner. It doesn't look like it's been vacuumed in months --... More

Because I am a ghost hunter, my husband found Mangnolia Manor on the internet and surprised me on March 24, 2012. The home is absolutely beautiful, and the history is fascinating. To think I stayed where 4 Civil War Generals had been (including Grant and Sherman) was more than I could take in. I was eager to see, hear, experience... More

Our stay was from March 9, 2012 to March 11, 2012. It was for my birthday weekend and my husband wanted to surprise me with a B&B that was reportedly "haunted". My husband is a huge Civil War buff, so we were really looking forward to the history of the place, if nothing else. Well, we got there and immediately... More

Ms. Elaine greeted us with warmth and smiles and perfect southern hospitality, like we were old friends. She said "Just play like it's your own house" when welcoming us to roam about and make ourselves at home. This is an absolutely gorgeous home filled with beautiful antique furniture, yet we didn't feel like we had to wear white gloves and... More

My daughter, Diane, and grandaughter, Morgan just this past weekend spent the night at Magnolia. They both heard banging in the wardrobe and smelled strong perfume during the night. The surprise the next day was in looking at the pictures we had taken, there was very plainly an apparition that had joined our photo - she is standing at my... More

Magnolia Manor is great stay for any history buff/ ghost hunter! The house is beautiful and every room in the house has a story to tell! I give this stay a 9 outta 10! The innkeepers Elaine and Tom have to be one of the nicest and curtious couples we have encountered on our expeditions, and if we can ever... More

This is my second trip to stay at Magnolia Manor. Ms Elaine made my first trip with my husband so nice I went back with a friend to do a little ghost hunting. Ms. Elaine is the most hospitable person I have ever met and makes you feel like you are visiting family. The house is beautiful with period furniture... More

Magnolia Manor is a wonderful trip back in time. The Inn is perhaps every bit as much a Museum as it is a B&B and to have the opportunity to actually stay in a home furnished and adorned with this type of genuine antiquity is priceless. Additionally, the home itself is a marvel. Old, and of a type that is... More

Not only is Magnolia Manor a lovingly restored historic home with the friendliest staff ever I'm going back ASAP. For my birthday gift from my hubby I went on one of the West Memphis Ghost Tour weekends and had a blast! I took my best friend with me & not only was our host for the ghost hunt a delight,... More

I visited the Magnolia Manor Bed and Breakfast anticipating a lovely restful stay. The house is beautiful and the innkeepers are sweet , BUT the place is dirty with few amenities. The gardens and yard are unkempt, the house is falling apart with a raggy front porch and vines growing from the windows. Great look for a haunted houe. I... More
