Stayed in a queen room upstairs and loved the view through the trees. It was our fourth visit and we still love it, even though we do miss being greeted with a craft beer. The location is top-notch in the center of everything to which we bike. Never even need a car really.

I was visiting town so my 16-year-old daughter could attend a 3-day UTC volleyball camp. This was my first experience utilizing a "shared-space" for my stay. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the employees as well as my fellow guests. I was pleasantly surprised with how clean this facility was. The bunk rooms were exactly what I needed, a place to lay my head, keep my belongings, and shower in the mornings. Coffee and tea were provided and there was a full size fridge for you to store your food/groceries. I would definitely stay at the Crash Pad again in the future.

Simple, clean accommodations with a super friendly and helpful staff. Nice outdoor patio with a gas fireplace for sitting outside. Great location within walking distance of many restaurants, bakery, coffee shop, brewery, dog park.

This was not for me- I am 50 years old and out of college for about 30 years- and didn't mind a small room and shared bathroom back then- so this review is from that perspective. CONS: the bunk bed room was tiny, but the bad part was there was no where to put items down except the floor and the the overhead lighting was right out of a grade "B" prison movie- maybe 10 watts? I had to wait until the sun came up to clearly be able to go through my belongings on the floor. And no where to sit except my bed- there are common areas with couches and benches, but a large group was always using them. One small chair in the room and a shelf would be nice. Threadbare sheet and cover for the bedding. Way overpriced for what was presented- you can find nice hotel rooms for around the same pricing range. PROS: location- downtown, near nice restaurants, employees when they are on duty which is limited.

I stayed in a single bunk here and it is so cool! I’ve always wanted to stay here to check the place out. I felt safe while staying and the place is very clean. The shared kitchen area is very convenient and the shared showers are very clean as well. I truly loved my stay and will be back in the future!

It was a good experience. The only downside is that you have to remember about green buttons and your keys, or you are screwed lol Also the shower at Mens was not really adjustable, as long as the temperature adjustment goes. It was doing its own things...

It has been 53 years since I stayed at several hostels throughout Europe. This place was much more elegant than what I remember then. Here having a bed, sink, and ceiling fan. I especially loved the architectural design and the fact that it was nestled around on older neighborhood. The staff was top notch, answering many questions from an old Forgie like me.

Our family has been staying at The Crash Pad for quite a few years. It is the perfect location for close proximity to the Tennessee Aquarium, ROCK CLIMBING! BOULDERING! HIKING! and great restaurants. The rooms / bunks and bathrooms are clean. The mattresses wonderful to sleep on after a long day outside. The atmosphere is welcoming. The hotel is quiet and safe.

This weekend was my fourth stay at the Crash Pad and it was wonderful, as always! The online reservation system is easy, the front desk crew was helpful and informative, the venue is very clean, quiet and centrally located. I usually stay in a private room, but this stay was in a bunk bed. The other guests were quite respectful of the community areas and no one was loud or obnoxious, in any way.
