The Chattanoogan is a very attractive hotel about 5 blocks from the thriving downtown area. The first night we were there they were doing some boiler repairs and we were greeted with a letter from the manager explaining that hot water would be unavailable from 11pm to 5am. We stayed two nights- first trip to Chattanooga. The hotel has a lovely lobby but that's pretty much it. Our room itself had newer furniture but already pieces were damaged.
