If you are looking for a good night's rest Knights Inn at cookeville is not for you. The room smells like it has not been cleaned from dust, mildew and state cigarette ash. We asked for a non smoking room yet, we had that room with that distinctive stale cig ash odor. the room may have appeared ok but underneath... More

From check in to breakfast this is one you don't want. Check in tedious, room clean, but bed was awful by any standard. Leaky shower, Old dated furnishings. Breakfast was meager and not very good unless you love honeybuns. Only thing good here is the price, if your moving on the next day. Don't expect much and you get what... More

My father booked us this hotel as we where going to be staying a week visiting him and family. As soon as I got there I wasnt able to get the door open so had to go back down to get a new key. I should have taken that as a sign! I had to use the joining room to... More

After spending a great week in the Smokies, my girlfriend and I planned on staying 2 nights in Cookeville to see the sights. We arrived at this DUMP around 4 o'clock p.m.. As soon as I walked in the lobby I knew this wasn't going to be good. There was an elderly couple in the lobby complaining their room was... More

My husband and I stayed here the night of June 2, 2012. Apparently there was a Harley convention in town and a concert so there were no other rooms available, at least not that we found. When I was in highschool, (1970's) this was the 8 Days Inn or Days Inn Clearly remember the big yellow sign next door to... More

Reserved here using my Wyndham Rewards Points. Overnighted on the way back from an evening UT football game in Knoxville. Low key property adjacent to I-40. Outside has been recently spruced up. Rooms were basic, clean, and quiet. Slept like a log on the comfortable bed. Bathroom appeared to have been updated recently, was nice, clean. Continental breakfast was sparse... More

I went to call office to change rooms and another large roach ran out from under the phone next to the bed. I wasn't going to bring my luggage into this environment. We did not stay... More

No frills, great value, ownership has changed 3 times in the 20 years I've been staying there. My elderly parents live near Cookeville and I and my family have stayed there during visits since my parents became too frail for overnite guests. The adjacent truck stop has morphed from a traditional truckstop complete with a surprisingly good confederate museum to... More
