After traveling most of the day I checked into the Thunderbird. Motel was easy to find off i40. Nice rooms able to park in front of room. Mexican restaurant located across driveway. Plenty of food options within walking distance.

This was one of the better Best Westerns I've stayed at. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, Southern hospitality was graciously extended by staff, the breakfast was good with fresh fruit and Danish, the bed was quite comfortable, the heater/air conditioning unit worked well and was quiet, and there were restaurants available close by.

We enjoyed staying at the Best Western Thunderbird in Cookeville, TN. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good and enough to get us started for the day.

We lucked into this room via priceline.com and were extremely pleased. Although the rooms open up to the outside (by the parking), it was very quiet. The room was clean and partially updated. Nice tv, fridge, and microwave. The office staff was extremely friendly. Although it worked perfectly, I had to laugh at the hair blower (see picture).

We stayed Fri - Sun for the AAU TN State Wrestling tournament. Rates were WONDERFUL, rooms were CLEAN, BEDS were VERY SOFT, Continental Breakfast was good (they ran out of waffle mix & were very nice about filling it back up at 8:45 when breakfast is over at 9), great location, EVERYONE speaks ENGLISH & has a very helpful attitude!!... Pretty awful property. I assume its high ranking (in Cookeville) is due to the price point as a place to sleep, not as a place to feel comfortable. We stayed in a suite which does indeed have a separate living and sleeping room. But a few things to note: - no toiletries - threadbare towels - broken lamp - broken... More
