I almost stayed at a Holiday Inn instead of the Carnegie, and wow, am I glad that I didn't. I really would have missed out! The hotel far exceeded my expectations and was on par with some of the best hotels I have experienced including the Ritz Carlton.

The hotel is 1st class...from the large, beautifully appointed rooms, to the excellent service....I must say this was a relaxing 3 days. Very convenient to ETSU if you are in town for a school event.
