Spent 2 nights at this hotel the building is old and quaint very enjoyable for a break to walk around the golf course and gardens The breakfast was excellent and the evening dinner 5 star Cavan town is a short drive from hotel and the golf course is excellent

This hotel needed refurbishment 10 years ago. If I had had an option, I would not have stayed. Every floorboards creaks, nothing has been painted since don't know when, wallpapers date back to decade I won't speculate on... No maintenance does not equal charm! I have stayed in nicer b&b's for cheaper. Nice grounds though.
