The hotel is very conveniently located for St. Helier and is good value compared to many St. Helier hotels. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and the general ambience of the hotel was pleasant and cheerful. Our room was spacious and very clean, the bed comfortable and we had everything we needed. The temperature was high due to a... More

Arrived to a very friendly warm welcome on a chilly bank holiday weekend. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with King Size beds and the usual TV, courtesy tray etc. The hotel facilities were excellent also, with 2 pools, 2 bars, 2 restaurants etc so its very self contained. The only significant criticism was the dated bathroom with very... More

Been looking through previous views, which were generally ok, but a few mixed. Well here goes, arrived on Sunday with my elderley parents. Recepion informed me my requests had been met in room allocation, a great start. Porter was insistant(in a pleasant way) of showing us our rooms and carrying the cases. Rooms are in good condition, very clean and... More

Like all hotels in St Helier I thought the Apollo was a little on the high side from a price perspective. My room was a little dated although generally clean and tidy, the bathroom in particular was in need of refurbishment ( old Peach bathroom suite with white panel). On the plus side we had an extreemly comfortable bed and the... More

I have just returned from staying at the Apollo Hotel while visiting the island to watch the rugby. The location of the hotel is within walking distance from the main shops in St.Helier and the main port. If you are visiting the island for rugby then it would take about 15 minutes in a taxi. The hotel I thought was... More

As with previous reviews,The Apollo Hotel is a bit dated.Bedrooms hot and ceilings a bit thin, noise from above, the bed was large and comfortable, didn't turn on the tv,so can't comment. We were out the back of the hotel and there was some early noise from the kitchen.Bathrooms in need of a extractor fan and water temperture fluctuates from hot to cold... You cannot fault the location of this hotel - 5 mins away from the high street. Has great parking facilities. My son loved the pool. Breakfast was a good spread too. Staff were friendly and helpful - excellent. The negatives are that the bedrooms, especially the bathrooms, are so dated. The shower is not great and water goes hot and... More

Was very disappointed with the hotel after reading previous reviews. I can live with the dated decor, but a rock hard mattress and the thinest pillow (singular) I have ever seen did not aide a good nights sleep. The room was very warm and unfortunately when you opened the window was very noisy. There is a pub connected to the... More
