we have stayed at the fairholme twice over the last 4 years , we stayed there when we got engaged, and went back for our 4th wedding anniversary,, it is a very clean and cosy place to stay, the rooms are immaculate with a ensuite shower room, ,we had b/b as many places to eat out, but marina, the landlady... Hi we stayed twice in 2011. My husband and i went to Jersey to visit my son, his wife and our 2 grandchildren, as they have no room we were looking for something in the area not to exepensive or too frilly but with good service! Well this place met it all, we paid £60.00 a night for the room... More

I stayed for 2 nights in September 2009, costing around £25 per night (ish, I can't remember exactly.) I had a twin room to myself, ensuite with shower. B&B had Wifi, which worked fine. Very nice owners, fantastic breakfast and quiet location yet central. Very close to seaside and in nice part of St Helier, I would recommend. You can... More

Reading some of the reviews I wonder if I was staying at the same place or was it a case of poor weather affecting folk but we had no problems with the facilities . .My wife and I had an excellent two weeks in Fairholme with no problems with our room, there were excellent meals morning/evening with plenty of choice... A really pleasant family run guest house. Staff and owners were friendly and full of great advice on how to enjoy our holiday on Jersey. Especially loved the lobster dinner. Our holiday was about getting out and about in Jersey, which Marina (owner) helped us plan so we made the most of our weeks stay. It's such good value. Will... More

My partner and I stayed for just under a week at the Fairholme Guest House and were pleased at first, we felt that we were staying in a comfortable place, where we would receive the great service any holiday maker deserves. After arriving early, we waited in the small lounge area until we could go to our room. After a... More

Excellent breakfast cooked to order and different each day. We had a great choice of 4 different breakfast each day. the evening dinner was excellent and the Jersey Royals were such a lovely treat. > the location is excellent only 5 minute walk to the town centre and just a few minutes more to the bus station but we used... The chefs greasy apron and the burnt tomatoes served up for breakfast helped us make the decision not to stay at the Fairholme for dinner!! The decor was more than tired with dirty window sills, rusty bathroom accessories and a bathroom window that wouldn't open(and there wasn't an extractor fan).We did have access to a kettle but had to boil it... We have just returned from a four day break in Jersey, staying at this B&B guesthouse. We had a great time, the people were very friendly and extremely helpful. We arrived before 10.00am due to an early flight, but only had to wait a few minutes before we could get to our room. They advised us on parking, offered us... More

Hi I recently stayed at this Guest House, which is about 5 minutes from the centre of St Helier. I found the Owners brilliant, very knowledgable, and cater for our every need. They made reservations for our group at a lovely restaurant/bistro, at the Jersey Museum. The rooms were a little dated, but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Overall I... More
