“Lovely little hotel”

We have just come back from a 2 night stay at this hotel. The room (Beckford) was very nice with a large comfortable bed.The food was splendid and the wines reasonably priced and very drinkable. “Short Break”

Stayed here for two nights, what a fabulous hotel. Staff were excellent as was the freshly cooked home made food. I struggled to eat all of the pie of the day. Pretty little village setting and happily allowed my dog to stay as well. Their home made fig chutney is the best I've tasted.

“A hidden GEM but don't tell too many!”

“Excellent cosy little hotel, with great food.”

Small cosy hotel, with excellent food. Good value for money. Stayed their twice now and was satisfied each time. Food I thought was exceptionally well cooked with great care taken for presentation. Will definitely recommend it.

“Excellent hotel fantastic food friendly staff”

We had a great weekend at Lifton hall hotel, owners were very helpful as were all the staff. The room was very good, clean top quality linen and towels. The breakfast is fantastic as were the meals we had in the restaurant. Lifton is a great location to explore Devon and Cornwall, 30 mins from beaches.

We stayed here for the Bank holiday weekend and it was just great. Having read the recent very poor review I was looking out for the Boots frames and the poor quality towels as well as the junk furniture but we didn't find them!! Instead we found a beautiful little homely hotel with good freshly produced food and attentive staff... More

“Charming small hotel with excellent staff”

kgb weekend deal. Lovely hotel with charming owners and staff (please introduce yourselves as hadnt a clue who was who). Food truly great-variety, hot,beautiful presentation-nothing too much trouble.Fresh fruit available with yogurt for breakfast- only had to ask . Room-Thatcher was pretty and quiet.
