We've just returned from a 4 night stay and had a great experience. The campsite is beautiful with a great laid back vibe - everything a campsite should be and near the sea too. We have recently stayed at Low Wray, Trevedra Farm and North Morte Farm and all of these campsites are similar if you like back to nature... More

I have just returned from a 3 night stay at this fabulous campsite. It was just my 10 year old daughter and I and we loved every minute! The showers, toilets were clean and tidy. The washing up area was always available. You have to some how manoever the taps by holding them back to get a decent flow of... More

I have camped at Burnbake a few times over the past few years with groups of friends. We normally go just for a couple of nights and love the fact that the kids can just go and explore and come back when they are hungry, and we feel happy with this at this site. There is not a formal play... More

We took a mid-week holiday for 5 days at Burnbake and loved (almost) every minute. We camped in the trees ~ the picture on the web-site was from our pitch ~ and it was lovely. We were well protected for the horrid driving rain & gales that attacked on our second day (the not fun part) and the pitch drained... More

Although the site was very busy, you are able to coose your own spot and pitch up anywhere. We chose to go off into the woods away from any other tents and it really felt like we were wild camping! Had a lovely walk the next day to a beautiful spot near Poole harbour. Took the dog with us and... More

amazing woodland setting, great for kids to run wild, get muddy and make great friends. nice little shop for extra supplies, my 6 year old loves it there and we still talk about it even 6 months later, will return in the summer. Fires allowed on trays/bricks. highly recommended

Great campsite this is the fourth time we have been. Me and my friend (I'm 12) love running around in the woodsss and are literally there from morning to night building dens and having nerf wars while the adults lounge around chatting. Brilliant campsite!

Great things about this campsite: 1. Lovely, natural woodland location with fields for large groups. 2. Plenty of showers (although hot water doesn't necessarily last) 3. Cafe and shop on site 4. Plenty to entertain kids 5. Near gorgeous Studland beaches Drawbacks: 1. The Corfe-Studland road can get VERY congested. It can take half an hour to drive to Corfe... More

If you like your kids to run free and generally wear themselves out, this is the place to take them. Ours are grown up now but they would have loved to have camped here. No 'proper' parks, just a couple of rope swings and freedom. It's lovely to see kids being kids and not having a phone dangling from their... More

We stayed at Burnbake for the Bank Holiday weekend so we had to pre-book and post off a cheque. They weren’t that quick to respond to the booking, which means we were in limbo not knowing if we had a slot or not (as they only have an answerphone) and wondering if we needed backup options. Of course the campsite... More
