We stayed with Joyce & Tom for 1 night for a party at the town hall, Joyce was wonderful and even walked us down to the hall the quick way. The room was huge and spotlessly clean lovely clean bathroom and plenty of room to put our travel cot in. Our daughter of 9 months slept all night and Joyce... More

This is traditional Scottish hospitality at its best. A small town in the East Neuk of Fife. A family run B & B. Spotlessly clean and conveniently placed. We have never had a better breakfast and such charming hosts. Many visitors (including ourselves) are returning custom. Cannot rate this too highly. More

All of the reviews say it for us but I wanted to add that for the first time in our two weeks in Scotland, the promised wi fi worked and there was a surface in our room to set up a laptop, mousepad and mouse!! I hate touch pads. There is a real sitting room devoted to the guests with... More

Looking for a gem of a B&B? Look no further. 8 Melville Terrace, Anstruther is the best B&B we have ever stayed in and the one we have come back to time after time on each visit to our daughter in St Andrews. The hospitality from Joyce and Tom is marvellous, not to mention Joyce's beautiful cooked breakfasts and Tom's... More

Our fifth or sixth time staying at 8 Melville Terrace - and once again it was a great place. The proprietors always friendly and so helpful and the room so comfortable! This time we needed to rehearse a one-man show in the room in a layout similar to the performance space and extra chairs were found to make that possible.... More

We had a warm welcome the moment we walked in the door. Joyce and Tom were dedicated to making us very comfortable, from getting the car parked to taking our breakfast order before we went to sleep. The room was very comfortable with a great en suite bathroom and lots of natural light. Tom and Joyce offered us tea in... More

The owners were very gracious and made you feel like you were at home. Every afternoon, the owner would serve tea with some sweets. She did little things which would make you feel special. The private sitting room is very comfortable and so are the rooms. More

Tom and Joyce are the most welcoming hosts. This is the first time I have stayed here and from the moment of arrival to the friendly wave at departure, I felt that I was staying with family not in a guest house. Rooms do not have TVs but not really missed with a lounge specifically for visitors with tea and... More
