We chose to stay here because of the good reviews. And we were not disappointed. We had a very nice room with great views, and we're met with homemade cake on our tea tray. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which included freshly cut fruit(amazing for a B&B) alone with homemade granola(which I am taking home a recipe). Nigel even came... More

It is so nice when people say that they "Feel at Home" here at Galvelbeg House as that is really what we are aiming for. The views are pretty good, especially when the weather is nice! Stella must get the credit for the freshly made fruit salad and also the home baking in the rooms... Hope you enjoy your Granola... More

A truly fantastic B&B! The moment we arrived till the time that we left the owners couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We were greeted like old friends on arrival and were shown straight to our rooms which were lovely and comfortable. Everything about the place was explained to us and nothing was too much trouble. At one point... More

WOW, thanks for a great review, so glad you really enjoyed your stay with us. Pleased that your "Perthshire Breakfast" was one of the nicest meals you had while you were away. We have got some great local produce here in Perthshire, so much easier to create lovely meals when you have top ingredients to start with. Stella is most... More

I stayed at Galvelbeg House with my partner and 2 friends from the Isle of Man prior to attending a wedding at Gleneagles hotel. We couldn't have been more impressed with the warm welcome, personal touches and fabulous hospitality. We met Nigel on arrival at the front door and was greeted warmly. We immediately spotted our welcome chalked on the... More

Many thanks for your lovely review and all the wonderful things you have to say about our B&B. Glad you liked your Manx flag, we do like to provide a personal welcome for our guests where we can. So pleased you like Stella's home-baking (so much so that you had to keep the chocolate loaf for yourself!!) The views from... More

As in the title the 3 words that sum up my 1st b&b experience. On route to a wedding a night stay is all it took to value the effort and delightful stay in Galvelbeg House. As soon as we arrive we were greeted with enthusiasm and energy from the owner, there was care and attention to detail with the... More

Really great that you enjoyed your first B&B experience, hopefully be many more to come... Glad you like the Manx flag, I might get 100% for effort but perhaps not for artistic ability!! We have got some really good places to eat in Crieff and pleased that you enjoyed The Lounge. We look forward to welcoming you back to Galvelbeg... More

My family stayed with Stella and Nigel just for one night last month. They couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and breakfast was really fresh and very tasty. There are lots of books available and good local information in the room. It was great... More

Spent two nights at above B and B recently during our tour of Scotland, although the Galvelbeg House was not upto the standard of the other two guest houses we stayed in, it was not quite as expensive either. The owners have not been running the place for long, and are obviously trying very hard. However our room was on... More

Thank you very much for your feedback, which as newcomers to the B&B business we always appreciate as it helps us to improve our service. Room 1 is not a huge room; however the pictures on our website give an accurate representation of the size and facilities in our rooms and this is also reflected in the tariff. The grey... More

My wife and I were in Crieff to celebrate my 82nd birthday. We were given a warm welcome (the friendliness was maintained throughout our 4-day stay, and was clearly not just put on to create a good initial impression) and provided with a pleasant room with a marvellous view. Breakfast had a good variety of choice - the scrambled eggs... More

Colin, Thank you for your review and so glad you enjoyed your birthday celebrations in Crieff. The room you were in, Room 4, is very nice and when the weather is good does indeed have some great views over the Strathearn Valley to the Ochil Hills. We are proud of our Perthshire breakfast and using some great local Perthshire produce... More

Many thanks for your lovely review, hope you had a great workshop up at the Hydro. So glad that you felt at home here at Galvelbeg, that is one of our aims. Firstly 3 must do's - 1)You must stay at this B&B if you are passing through Crieff; 2)If you are not passing through you must detour to enable you to stay & 3)If you are a dog lover you must stay here - Murphy & Bailey are adorable. This is the friendliest B&B we have ever stayed in. We have... More
