We stayed in the Robert the Bruce room on the top floor in James Cottage, a lovely old 220 year old house in Crieff. Mine host Michael was just so welcoming and gracious. He really made our stay so special. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Our room was big and so comfortable warm and well appointed. The bed... More

If you wish a friendly host, very comfortable room and a cracking breakfast, this is the place for you. Safe parking also for those with classic cars. Although the B & B does not do evening meals, there are plenty of eating places nearby. We will return.

Excellent family room and very spacious(plenty of room for a 6 year old & 1 year old to play). The breakfast was the perfect start to the day and cooked to perfection! Michael was extremely helpful and helped make our stay, will definitely stay again.

This B and B is full of character! The rooms are comfortable and quiet despite being on a main road. The whole place is full of trinkets and pictures all of which have a story which just adds to the charm. Michael should run courses on hospitality! He was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.... Including shirt ironing!... More

We booked three rooms for our relatives to stay the night before our son's wedding in Crieff. This guest house was ideal because the large bedrooms could accomodate our grandchildren. Michael is the perfect host and is always attentive to guest's needs.

We had just one night with friends at James Cottage and had a great stay, very warm, comfortable and good breakfast. Michael was very helpful and gave us a few ideas on local attractions to visit.

We had a very warm welcome from the host, very clean B&B and breakfast was freshly made. I have stayed in a number of places in Crieff and this was the most enjoyable. Would recommend to a friend.

Michael, who runs the place has a very friendly attitude and was very helpful to us. The house is clean and tidy with the breakfasts being very sumptuous. This is the second year that we have stayed here and we would do so again.

We enjoyed our one night with Michael. 10/10 for customer service, friendliness and the breakfast. We docked one star because it there is no car park, and Michael insisted we pay by cash, he didn't mention this until we were leaving. We had USA, UK credit cards and cheques, but he wanted cash. He did not offer a receipt so... More

Yes, James Cottage prides itself on being clean and friendly BUT for anyone to suggest that we are a cash only business is not being truthful one bit and these folk from Missourie are lying about car parking and credit card acceptability. We have private car parking illustrated for all to see on our front-of-house James Cottage B&B notice board... More
