My friend and I are walking the walk over several years and have stayed at many places. Bank House is an excellent place to stay and definately one of the best we have stayed in. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and were shown to our rooms and around the house. The rooms are tastefully decorated, cosy and... More

The Bank House Guest House is the best guest house I have stayed in. The situation is ideal for being central for playing some off the best James braid courses in the world and Royal Dornoch is with in easy walking distance and there are parking spaces . You are made very welcome when you arrive and when shown the... More

The Bank House Guest House is ideal for staying over when in Dornoch. Its well situation within walking distance of all the other pubs and hotels and not far from the beach either. The rooms were very comfortable, warm and clean. The owners provided a very friendly welcome and the breakfast was amazing! Well worth a try if you are... More

For a decade or two, I have travelled to Scotland every other year for two weeks of golf. I never fail to stop in Dornoch. It is the perfect Scottish town, ancient cathedral, beachs, farms and five excellent golf courses. Now I always stay at The Bank House, a B&B with five extra-large rooms, beautifully decorated, gardens, modern bathrooms with... More

We arrived in Dornoch at 5pm, no room available with VisitScotland, likely we found this beautiful guest house with very warm hosts. The only available room was a double, but thay arrange an air mattress for my son; the room was great, with a jacuzzi bath. We much appreciate the breakfast, with a big table for all the guests; we... More

Huge, elegant townhouse with individually decorated rooms. Our room (20) was most luxurious with an enormous, comfortable bed. The bathroom was better than our own at home!! and had a jacuzzi bath, seperate shower, washing machine which was a godsend as we were touring Scotland and needed to wash a few things. The fridge was useful too to chill our... More

You know how it is. You spend the most of a morning and afternoon driving and come early evening, you're tired and want somewhere to stay for the night. Having pushed on to Dornoch, we initially drove past The Bank House thinking that it would be very pricey. Anyways, we turned around and enquired if they had any rooms for... More

No long review here.....First trip this September. We go back every two years, as some of us are members of Royal Dornoch. We will never stay at another place. Paul and his wife are wonderful, and the bacon and eggs....isn't just bacon, eggs and toast. Marvelous little spot, but better for non-golfers who want an extremely comfortable spot for a... More

My partner and I decided to have a relaxing weekend away and decided to spend our first night in Dornoch and booked the Bank house on a family members recommendation. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and shown to our room which was immaculate, very spacious and extremely comfortable. In the morning we had a fantastic breakfast... More
