Professionally run B&B near the centre of Fort August. We stayed there for one night when walking the Great Glen Way. Very nice rooms, recently decorated in quite a stylish way. Clean and tidy. No free internet that I could get working. Pleasant hosts. Nice breakfast. Would defiantly stay again. More

Lovely twist on this aptly named homely B & B. Fran & Nick were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was immense. Room and linen fresh and clean. Lovely stopover while doing the Great Glen Walk. Thanks from Jane & Jean More

We had comfortable rooms, looking out on the main road (could do with better curtains - the sun rises early in the Scottish summer). Really good breakfast. Can walk to the village for a choice of eating places. More than satisfied. More

Single rooms are often difficult and this was really excellent. The price was good too - more than half what you would expect to pay for a double, but not much more, which is unusual. A small double in a medium sized room with a small but modernised shower room ensuite. It's an old house and general decor was a... More

Booked this B&B for some of my family who travelled up to Fort Augustus for my daughters wedding. Fran made them feel very welcome, the rooms were well furnished, clean and comfortable and they all said the breakfast was one of the best they had ever had in a B&B. Price was about average for the area and would definately... More

We came across Nia roo quite by accident. We were supposed to be staying in another B&B but they closed up shop without telling us, and we drove past here and saw a vacancy sign. It went from a panicked ' sleep anywhere' to a delight. Fran, the owner is adorable, a really friendly lovely lady and her husband Nick... More

We stayed one night at this B&B whie driving about Scotland. We stayed in the Harry Potter room (#2) under the stairs and it was quite comfortable with a modern ensuite bath. There was even a little dressing room bewtween bath and bedroom. Since we did not know where we might end our day, we just happened upon Nia Roo... More

We booked our B&B online with great trepidation, only to find when we arrived that we were blown away by such a lovely B&B. Fran was so nice and helpful during out stay. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and we felt just like we were at home. We enjoyed our traditional scottish breakfast and enjoyed a wonderful conversation... More
