We have stayed here twice now en route back home after touring the Hebrides. The rooms are very good, the food super and the welcome excellent. I particularly enjoyed watching the deer from my bedroom window !Highly recommended.

We spent an excellent three days in the beautiful, dramatic scenery of South Loch Ness staying two nights in this delightful hotel which is full of Highland character. We particularly liked the stairway, the several paintings and the wood paneling.
Our bedroom was large, as was the en-suite bathroom. Modern, no, but very comfortable with everything working well, yes.

Stayed in Wildside Higland Lodges and this was the only eating facility nearby. Was very good, good service and kind people. Food was also good and even enjoyed a game of pool afterwards. If you're staying in Whitebridge I can definitely recommend. Especially because Fort Augustus is a 25 min. drive.
If you want a real highland experience then this is the place for you. If you are expecting the savoy or hilton then go to a city. This hotel delivers everything you would want to truly experience the local culture. It feels like you are walking into your own home - apart from the fact that you are going to...

I have just returned for a three day/night stay in the Whitebridge with three friends on a stalking trip. We recieved a true highland welcome in the cosy bar on Thursday night in front of the wood burning stove (perfect after a 7hr drive). This was only the start of a fantastic three days. The food is all cooked and...

I definitely would recommend The Whitebridge Hotel, yummy food, efficient staff, especially Tom & Mike! Steak & ale pie, followed by lemon cheesecake are excellent. Great views from bedrooms & some good walks locally. It was a shame when we had to go home. Will definitely come back.
We stayed for one night in December. Sarah and David were fabulous hosts and couldn't have been more accommodating. We spent the evening in the cosy bar which was full of locals and tourists and were treated to the best mulled wine I have ever tasted (made from scratch by chef Sarah.) Our room was lovely and big with great...

Thanks for such a lovely stay. We stayed just one night on a road trip around the area, and it was a lovely, peaceful and very reasonably priced hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Also the food was nice and hearty, in the bar and at breakfast the next morning (had a delicious full Scottish breakfast in the quiet...
