This is my 6th stay at the Highland Hotel so I may be a bit biased, a basic country hotel, with no pretence of stars or awards, but good food, pleasant staff, interesting entertainment and high standards of care by experienced staff, these standards upheld even though the manager was on leave. Went on Shearings Inclusive break for 5 days with 2 friends. Absolutely wonderful break, yes some of the rooms may be a little tired but they were spotlessly clean. Lovely comfortable lounges .
