My first visit to this b&b for a one night business trip. The house itself is really nice, all very modern and the new glass area at the front is superb. There's a flat screen tv, wifi and all of the furnishings are first class, really comfy bed and fabulous view from the room I was in. Fresh milk brought... More

Thank you for telling us how much you enjoyed your winter break at Wemyss House. With a trip west to Ullapool and north into Sutherland you told us, round the woodburner after dinner, about the stunning winter landscape of snowy mountain tops and clear seascape views. It's a pity most people come to the Highlands in the summer time because,... More

We loved it!! The nice secluded location overlooking the nature conservancy. The pleasant house with it's warm feeling. The comfortable cozy rooms and bathrooms. And the hospitality! Stuart is a pleasant host and Christine a fantastic cook. Dining in is definitely recommended (4 course dinner, pre-booking required). In her cooking, Christine combines a love of natural ingredients with the creative... More

Wemyss House is the best B&B we ever stayed in. The hosts were great. The rooms are beautifully furnished. We did very well to book also the dinner: Christine is an excellent cook and Stuart served the 4-course-dinner elegantly. Also the breakfast was great. It was a pity that we stayed there only for 1 night.

Just off the main route from Inverness to John O' Groats this stylish B&B is located in a tranquil spot overlooking Cromarty Firth. The small number of rooms and the warm hospitality of the owners make you feel like visiting friends rather than paying guests. Excellent evening meals can be provided, if required, and the breakfast is superb. Rooms are... More

Wonderful accommodation, fabulous home cooked food (breakfasts and dinners) and fantastic hosts. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, the bed linen luxurious and there are even bath robes and slippers for guests to use. Staying at Wemyss House is a lovely relaxing experience - we will be returning.

Christine and Stuart came to the rescue! When accommodations at a nearby "manor house" for a birding tour package were not appropriate or even clean, we were guided to Christine... and what a find!
