Stayed in the Torridon Inn with a group of guys on a hill walking trip on 3rd May 2013. Accommodation was perfectly acceptable; one room slept 6 guys, the other slept the other 4. Returning to Torridon after many years, our first day was a complete wash-out with the weather, and so we had a delightful, though expensive, afternoon tea in the nearby very posh Torridon Hotel. Booked in at the inn for a couple of days mountain biking & was very impressed by the chap on reception who was very amiable & in the middle of a meal, but he made us very welcome. You could only choose between something like 6 choices, none of them i wanted so had to settle for spending alot of money on a burger because the rest wasn't anything i like... My husband and I recently spent six wonderful nights at the Inn. The accommodation was superb - room was spacious,warm and very comfortable.Food was excellent at all times and catered for all tastes. The staff were so helpful,friendly and courteous.Nothing was too much trouble We can't wait to return

Staff obviously need training in customer service 'scatty' as mentioned in previous post is accurate. Manager looked stressed and out of his depth, and we seemed to be an inconvenience when trying to get his attention. Food was great but let down by poor service, or non existent service. not be returning.
