We only stayed for a night, but enjoyed our stay in this Bed and Breakfast a lot. Being very centrally situated on the Isle of Mull, it is a perfect place to explore the South as well as the North of the Island, given one has brought a car, which we had. Our room was very spacious and had beautiful... More

We had never been to a Scottish island before, and picked Mull for sea eagles and otters. We picked Linnhe View because of the reviews and the nearness to the quay. Mull is simply wonderful, and we loved everything about it. But the 5 day stay was memorable also for this guest house. We were treated as friends, perfectly looked... More

The defining feature of Linnhe View is Mary and Jim's hospitality, which is second to none. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated as friends, with Mary providing endless help with directions, suggestions of places to visit, bus timetables, even managing to find a hire car for us for a day. The breakfasts at the communal... More

I stayed at Linnhe View in August 2011 and loved it. Mary went out of her way to help with suggestions of things to visit and making calls to touring companies. The breakfasts were very good and the ambience was friendly and relaxed. Guests have access to a lounge, which is nice. Although the single room does not have a... More

My wife and I had a wonderful stay on the Isle of Mull, and Linnhe View was a very good launching spot to see all of the places that interested us in the vicinity and very close to the ferry. The room was very comfortable, and the view was astoundingly beautiful. My wife saw an otter playing in the water... More

The Linnhe is run with old school charm by the owners who are warm and friendly without being intrusive. The breakfasts were delicious and substantial with wonderful Scottish black pudding (it's optional - you don't have to have it!). The views over the loch from the bedroom windows are stunning, and a jolly good pub serving good food is five... More

Linnhe View, on the water's edge, has all you expect from an excellent B&B - breakfasts to cross the island for, big, comfy, light rooms, sea views, spotless in all aspects - but what makes it really stand out is the warmth of your reception. Mary really does welcome you into your home, where you are an honoured guest. Your... More

Thank you so much for the review entitled "Tops". It was good to have you in our home and I hope you will indeed return soon. We do try to treat all guests with the same welcome and concern for their island experience. Sadly we don't please everyone and take those "iffy" reviews very much to heart. More

We made the booking through bookings.com for one night. The hospitality from MARY was second to none, from the moment we arrived. The bed was warm the view from our room was spectular. The breakfast Mary served in the morning was once again perfect. We had never tasted butter like that before. She even went over the road to tell... More

How lovely! Thank you for your very kind words - they have somewhat restored our recently battered hearts. We love having guests in our home and always strive to make their stay a happy one, sadly, we can't please everyone! More

We have recently returned from our second visit to Mull and again stayed at Linnhe View B&B. The welcome from Mary and Jim was so very warm and sincere. The view from our room was one to dream about - we would have no qualms in returning - wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. Mike and Mary (Taylor) King's Lynn

Extremely over-priced considering; The atmosphere is very negative and as a guest I felt 'looked down upon'. The owners can (and did) go snooping in your room when you're out as there's no keys for any of the rooms. If you ask for anything it's like you're asking for the sea to be parted. There's no TV's in the rooms.... More

Firstly, we did not have any guests in March. Secondly, we believe we know who has written 2 recently derogatory reviews of our home and business. Accordingly, we will say no more. More
